KP Hydro holds a concession from the Federal Government of Nigeria for the operation and management of the 40 MW Kashimbila hydro power plant in Takum Local Government Area of Taraba State. The power plant and associated 132kV switchyard and transmission lines were part of an integrated project that also includes a 2,000-hectare irrigation system and a water supply scheme that provides 60,000 cubic meters of water per day, as well as a full commercial services airport.

The Kashimbila hydro power plant demonstrates Vios’ vision and commitment to sustainable energy solutions. The Kashimbila hydro power plant delivers electric power and energy over the power grid to Vios’ customers across Nigeria and also supports grid stabilising ancillary services to the national transmission network.
